After attending an amazing conference with my fellow women bloggers a few weeks ago, I came to the realization that my blogging efforts was a little pale in comparison to the other blogs that I was exposed to that day. I needed some quiet time and space to think through how I wanted to proceed on with this goal.
Since I had a few entries under the gmail Blogger account, it was advised that I should move over to WordPress which a little more robust. It took me almost ten hours to set-up compared to the two hours on Blogger, but I can see why this is a good move for me.
Over the next few days, I will be establishing a Facebook page and Instagram account. The Pinterest link will be following shortly behind. The conference also made me realize very quickly that I was creating a community, who will view me in very different ways through Social Media.
This process of refocusing this blog has stretched me. I’m appreciating the challenge and hard work that it will take to get this process up and running. Being creative is something new for me. Even though I can appreciate the aesthetics of an environment or space.
I’m not sure how to get there, but my heart’s desire is in the right place.
Let’s see where this journey will take me…
